Part-Time Registered Dietitian

 

Position Description

Whole Health Nutrition is a forward-thinking outpatient nutrition practice located in Vermont. Our primary office is in Colchester, where we offer both in-person and telemedicine nutrition counseling. The hours for the position are flexible to weekdays. Hybrid schedule with ability to work from home and in-office. 

We are seeking a registered dietitian to join our team. The position involves delivery of individual nutrition sessions, group education, workshops, participation in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, and other creative projects on an as-needed basis. Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.

Job Type: part-time with an option to increase to full-time

Pay: commiserate with experience


Minimum Qualifications

  • Registered dietitian as per Commission on Dietetic Registration

  • Current Vermont state license 

  • Residing in the state of Vermont (unless you are open to traveling from another state to work out of our office a few days per month)

  • 1+ years work experience as a registered dietitian

  • Knowledge of non-diet approach and weight-inclusive, health at every size principles and intuitive eating philosophies

  • Demonstrates strong leadership competencies and skills for the position; including the ability to teach workshops and classes, organizational skills, excellent communication and customer service, relationship development, results-oriented, team building, and decision making skills

  • Proficient in office-based computer programs/software- Word, Excel, G-mail, electronic  health records

  • Strong time management

Desired Candidate

  • Experience working with pediatrics as a registered dietitian 

  • Able to work independently and as part of  a team

  • Motivated learner who is able to grow through challenges

  • Familiarity with various psychotherapeutic approaches, FBT/Maudsley’s approach, motivational interviewing, outpatient counseling
