Herbal Iced Tea

Herbal Iced Tea

Trying to stay hydrated, especially as the temperature rises, can be tricky! If you’re like some of our clients, you’re sick of the same old water. Why not mix it up with a simple homemade herbal iced tea? Adding lemon juice gives you a nice punch of sour and sweet so you don’t necessarily need the added sugar found in other iced tea recipes. You can also add herbs like mint and rosemary for more flavor.

Ingredients:

4 herbal tea bags - we like peach, blueberry, and passion fruit to name a few!

6 cups boiling water

Optional: freshly squeezed lemon juice, fresh herbs like mint or rosemary depending on the flavor of tea

Instructions:

1. Steep 4 herbal tea bags in 6 cups boiling water for at least 10 minutes - the longer you steep the bolder the flavor

2. Remove the tea bags and refrigerate until cool

3. Serve over plenty of ice and freshly squeezed lemon

Note: In a rush? Steep 4 tea bags in 3 cups of boiling water for 10 minutes and add 3 cups of cold water to cut down on cooling time.
